It might be a little wet and cold to think about spring, but Home Depot is already thinking about it. And if you’re thinking about a job, the company might hire you.
The home improvement giant said today it’s hiring more 80,000 temporary workers nationwide in anticipation of its big spring selling season, the busiest time of the year for the company.
Spokesman Stephen Holmes said the company will try to keep as many as it can for regular positions.
Spring is busiest for the company as consumers ramp up yard work, including planting in gardens, building decks and pruning trees, the Associated Press said. Consumers also take on indoor projects, such as painting and installing laminate and hardwood flooring.
But don’t go by your local Home Depot for a job application. The company says all applicants must apply online. Click here to apply.
