"Perhaps those who pretend to get their answers directly from a loving god should be praying for guidance, gun control and their own sick souls." Rheta G. Johnson

These pseudo-Christian "False Prophets" you mentioned make a mockery out of Christianity. Is it any wonder that Jesus has cause to weep?--ABratt

Why Do Some Theologians Blame The Victim?
by ABratt
Dec 20, 2012 | 748 views | 0 0 comments | 6 6 recommendations | email to a friend | print | permalink

The question presented in this article and the author's commentary should be of grave concern to all Americans that believe the rhetoric of members of the American Christian Right-Wing belongs in a former time frame of our history and is, therefore, not appropriate for todays enlightened society. Scapegoating the tragic deaths of innocent 6 to 7 year school children to somehow prove the existence of God Almighty's potential wrath on the concept of man's sin is totally unconscienable and totally unacceptable.--AB

ABratt's Perspectives: My Favorite Comments From Bryan Fischer's Take Of The CT School Shootings

Fischer: "God Didn't Stop CT School Shooting Because He's A Gentleman Who Doesn't Go Where He Is Not Wanted"

Favorite Comments From Readers Of Fischer's Post:

"First of all, prayer is not banned in any school. Any student can bow their head or close their eyes and in their head say any prayer they want. It is organized prayer representing only one belief over any other and made mandatory by people in authority that is banned. Do all students and teachers and employees drop their religious beliefs in a box when they enter the building? Of course not! If you have a religious belief it is deposited in your heart and mind and displayed by the way you treat other people with dignity and respect."

"Here's the bottom line, God is not going to go where he is not wanted."--Fischer

"I find it interesting that this person does not believe his god is omnipresent, but most Xtians don't really believe in their god anyway. That is why they feel they need guns, but they'd never admit it."-- Commenter

*******************************************************************

"I went to public school in the late 50s into the 60s and never once did we pray. We never had prayer in schools. Is this guy saying that the shooter would have driven past this school if they had been praying and driven to a non-praying school to commit this horriffic act? Shame on the wing nuttery - this is completely disgusting."

ABratt's Perspectives: AFAs Bryan Fischer: "God Didn't Stop CT School Shooting Because He's A Gentleman Who Doesn't Go Where He Is Not Wanted"

Is Bryan Fischer of the Tupelo Mississippi AFA a true representative of Christianity when he claims God is unconcerned about the tragic shooting deaths of 20 little school children?-- AB

Bryan Fischer spent the first hour of his radio program today discussing this morning's truly horrific shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut, which he, of course, blamed on the fact that prayer, the Bible, and the Ten Commandments are not taught in public schools.

Fischer said that God could have protected the victims of this massacre, but didn't because "God is not going to go where he is not wanted" and so if school administrators really want to protect students, they will start every school day with a prayer.

ABratt's Perspectives: Senator DeMint Powers
by ABratt

ABratt's Favorite Comment From The Web:
“DeMint COST the Republican Party dearly in this election cycle and party leaders told him so ! As head of the Heritage Foundation, DeMint will have an audience with FOX to advance the foundations NEW conservative, Religious Right (rebranded Tea Party) agenda of theologically based bigotry, prejudice, discrimination and God-less hate for anyone who does not agree with their theology and its based ideology.
DeMint is the WEDGE instrument which permenatly seperate the Republican Party from the remaining Independents, without which, they cannot be elected to the Presidency and wil loose their support for Senate and House seats. Under DeMint, The next four years the Heritage Foundation (rebranded Tea Party) will become front and center as the Bull Horn for the Religious Right (rebranded Tea Party, rebranded as the Heritage Fuondation) which will cost the GOP even greater in 2014 and 2016.”

ABratt's Perspectives: My Favorite Comment In Response To Sununu Online Article: Democrats Won Thanks To...

“Sununu is about the biggest windbag the GOP has who says what a lot of Republicans think. When you hear some GOP say that social security, medicare, military and civil service retirement are entitlement programs, then you have a group of people who do not think.

If they want to see entitlement programs, then look at the big contractors that live off Government contracts with all the waste and abuse that is inherent in those programs with fraud rearing its ugly head every so often in a contract. With the manhour rates of defense contractors, they are ripping off the Government to pay their Chief Executives over $20M a year with million dollar bonuses each year.

Sununu/Romney group think anyone getting a check from the federal government is a taker. Let's start with the takers in Congress and their staffs. Cut their salaries back to 2000 and Congressionals staffs in half -- write their own bills not lobbyist.

Look no further for bloated Government then the Congress and DoD.

For the Republican Party to say they are for limited government is a joke. They grew government during the Bush years. Yet in a campaign where Romney wanted to increase Defense spending by over $2T, they still touted themselves as limited government types wanting to limit social security and medicare while increasing defense. Cannot believe people still buy into that rhetoric. They need to take off their blinders!”

ABratt's Perspectives: Spotlighting Elols Worth Comment From The Daily Journal
by ABratt
Dec 02, 2012 | 876 views | 0 0 comments | 9 9 recommendations | email to a friend | print | permalink

Elols Worth:

"Hussein Obama is no FDR and he is certainly not following FDR's steps to rebuild America. FDR never robbed hard workers to finance the leisure life of deadbeats. He never allowed illegals a way to file tax returns without a social security card so they could claim child tax credits for children in Mexico and send billions to Mexico."

"FDR never spent billions paying his donors to build plants to go bankrupt while lining the pockets of the CEO's that created these worthless plants."

"FDR NEVER, NEVER robbed from people in order to redistribute wealth in America."

"FDR never allowed his wife to carry a hundred of her friends to Spain to vacation in a resort at tax payers money."

"FDR never caused the cost of living to sky rocket while penalizing energy suppliers.

Any one that tries to compare obama to FDR is completely ignorant and has their head in the sand."

"No person in the whitehouse has ever tried to destroy the middle class [nonsense, El Worthless] like obama."

"His only achievement in his first four years is to get obamacare passed that is costing the middle class over $2,500.00 per year just to create a socialized country. FDR never forced doctors to stop treating the sick because they could not afford to work for nothing."

"It is so sad when low life's can keep a socialist in the whitehouse."

"Obama just does not have the intelligence to be an FDR."

There's no  lower a life than one who constantly rants about the "Low Lifers" of Obama's America. Elols Worth represents the core of Right-Wing HOOEY in Mississippi. Just another "Flush" Limbaugh proving to the world that he is totally irrellevant.

Elols Worth only has the intelligence of a Conservative Mississippi  Moron!-- AB
