Everything has to start someplace, and this is the start for Sports Buzz. This blog will include regular updates from the Daily Journal sports staff, links to stories of local and regional interest you might find interesting and, sometimes, random observations about the world of sports.
Our business staff has been producing the Biz Buzz blog for a couple of years, and it has proven to be a very popular feature on our Web site. We'll be delighted if we can eventually nurture that kind of following here.
This is not intended to replace or compete with the fine college blogs already in place from Parrish Alford about Ole Miss or Brad Locke about Mississippi State.
From time to time, though, we may point you in the direction of something they've written there, just to make sure you don't miss it.
