From College Station, in some aspects it was a typical Monday at Texas A&M, but A&M athletes knew better than that. The Aggies were headed to the SEC and were excited about the future.

SEC Commissioner Mike Slive attended a Texas A&M news conference/celebration in College Station to officially welcome the Aggies. Slive says he anticipates the SEC being a 13-team league in 2012. A&M's time in the SEC will begin on July 1.

The SEC may in fact be a 13-team league next year, but that hasn't slowed down speculation about a 14th team. From Athlon Sports, here's a list of possibilities, their pros and cons.
