UPDATE: The Silver Alert issued earlier today for James William Sunn of Ackerman, Mississippi is cancelled. Mr. Sunn was located earlier this evening, unharmed as he continued his journey to Canada.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol/Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is issuing a Silver Alert for James William Sunn, 76, of Ackerman.

Sunn left Ackerman toward Arkansas July 18, 2012 en route to Vancouver Island, British Columbia and has not been seen since. He is traveling in a white 2003 Ford Ranger Pick-up truck bearing Mississippi license plate CT2-435.

The truck has a camper shell with a green canoe on top. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of James William Sunn is asked to call the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation at 601-987-1530.
