Tippah authorities identified the woman as Mitzi Lynn Williams, 28, of Miss. 4 East, who previously lived in Union City, Tenn. She was alone in the westbound 2000 Ford Ranger when it left the road and overturned several times before coming to rest on the driver’s side north of the road. The wreck happened near the intersection with CR 540, about five miles east of Ripley. It was reported about 5:47 p.m.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
