OXFORD - Johnnica Williams, 21, of Tupelo was found guilty in federal court in Oxford on Aug. 29. Williams was given 41 months and 3 years probation, according to a statement released by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Williams was arrested by Monroe County Sheriff Department on Jan. 10, 2012 for armed robbery following a bank robbery in Smithville at Renasant Bank. The Monroe County Sheriff Office apprehended Williams in Tupelo.

During the robbery, Williams dressed as a man and even though she gave a bank teller a note advising that she was armed, she never showed a weapon.

After being apprehended, Williams' bond was set at $1 million.
