Harrison, 56, was indicted by a grand jury Feb. 22 but the action was just made public.
He is free on $20,000 bond after an initial hearing before Magistrate Judge Jane Virden in Greenville on Monday.
The federal indictment accuses Harrison of four counts of intentionally under-reporting his joint taxable income from 2005-2008 by about $200,000.
The other charges accuse him as chief financial officer at Miss Eaton Inc., a Pontotoc furniture manufacturer, of using company money for his personal benefit and failing to pay $1.4 million in IRS payroll tax withheld from company employees' paychecks.
