The new football uniforms, courtesy adidas, debuted this afternoon in front of the Barnes & Noble here on campus. Sharp-looking. Four combinations were on display, and they're the four the Bulldogs will use this coming season. Perhaps more in the future, according to coach Dan Mullen. The unis will not be worn in Saturday's Maroon-White Spring Game.
About 125-150 people were in attendance. Four players – Jamar Chaney, Anthony Dixon, Derek Sherrod and Bo Walters – served as models. Dixon struck a Heisman pose and declared his intentions to lead MSU to a national title.
"How you look determines how you perform in a lot of ways," Sherrod said. "If you look good, you feel good. And I think we look really good now."
