Shannon's next on the county Christmas parade tour. The city hosted its holiday march Tuesday night. This time, I moved to a new location on the route to take photos - in front of First Baptist Church. In years past I snapped photos from the intersection next to the school. Some of the photos will appear in the Neighbors' Christmas parade edition Dec. 23.

Moving to the First Baptist spot also gave me quicker access to the judges' results of the float competition. Congratulations to the following:

First place: Nettleton FFA/Lee County 4-H

Second place: Shannon First Baptist Church

Third place: Pleasant Grove Church
