Sue Stafford

PHEBA – Sue White Stafford, 78, passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at The Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville. She was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Chickasaw County to Nancy Bell Huffman and James Rupert Boyce.


She worked in the Clay County Schools Cafeteria for 20 years and was a member of Pheba Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery in Pheba.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Watson (Fred) of Durant; one son, Danny White (Merline) of Pheba; two granddaughters, Lillie Fuller and Jana Leigh White; and two sisters, Nancy Morris of West Point and Janice Millsaps (Tommy) of Pheba.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles D. White, William Howard Brand and Bennie E. Stafford; two granddaughters, Marlee and Daniele White; sisters, Emma Mae Blansett, Della Fitzpatrick and Lucy Jeannette Weed.

Visitation is 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday at Calvert Funeral Home.
