Thanks to the national recession, resistance to tax increases and the looming fiscal cliff, today’s schools are feeling a funding pinch. With sources of revenue getting cut, they will need to find innovative ways to save money and earn funds.
In that light, the satirical mock newspaper, The Onion had a humorous story about how U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan is trying to get more money for the nation’s students.
Duncan responded on Twitter on Wednesday to the satirical report about him moonlighting as a stripper to put the nation’s children through school.
“That was my secret plan B if we lost the election…” he Tweeted.
