Tupelo School Board President Rob Hudson took the ice bucket challenge on Tuesday afternoon in his role as President of Hudson Management, which operates seven McDonald’s restaurants in Tupelo, Saltillo, New Albany and Pontotoc. The Daily Journal’s Robbie Ward was visiting the South Gloster McDonald’s to get a Big Mac for dinner and captured Hudson’s frozen plunge.
“It’s cold,” said Hudson, after having three large plastic buckets filled with ice dumped over his head. He invited others to stop by their local McDonald’s and donate $1 to Ronald McDonald charities. He also “double dog dared” local McDoanld’s owners to duplicate the challenge
