MSU Promotes Nemeth; Will Head Up Football Scheduling

Mike Nemeth, a longtime administrator within the MSU athletic department, has received a promotion, and his new duties include being the lead guy on future football scheduling.

Nemeth’s new title is senior associate athletics director for administration, according to an MSU release. Among his other new responsibilities: department-wide contracts, summer camps management, bowl game and other postseason competition organization, and scheduling athletic events. He will continue to serve as the sport administrator for baseball and will add similar duties with soccer.

Nemeth has been on staff for 28 years. His previous role was as senior associate AD for marketing and corporate development for the past five years, and prior to that he was the head media relations director for football (1993-2007). Nemeth will continue to serve on AD Scott Stricklin‘s executive staff.
