Videos: Mitchell, Fitts Lead MSU’s Bench Mobb

OMAHA, Neb. | Much has been said and written about MSU’s so-called Bench Mobb. And much ink was spilled in today’s Journal about that group of wild and crazy guys, who have helped keep this team both relaxed and focused throughout the season, the postseason and here at the College World Series.

The ringleader is sophomore pitcher Ross Mitchell, who when he isn’t busy being 13-0 is setting the tone for the Bench Mobb. We had a good conversation with him the other day at practice, and I’ve got video of it below. I also have video of Trevor Fitts, the guy responsible for the relaxed facial hair policy and a key member of #teamnoundershirt (Team No Undershirt).

The Bench Mobb and the rest of the Bulldogs are taking on Oregon State at 2 p.m. today (ESPN) with a chance to advance to the championship series.

Please, enjoy the zaniness.
