Video: Mullen, Bulldogs Turning Attention Toward Oklahoma State

STARKVILLE | Mississippi State was back on the practice fields today after taking Monday off, and a game-week feel has crept into the proceedings. MSU is just 11 days away from its season opener against Oklahoma State in Houston.

We caught up with head coach Dan Mullen after practice, who talked about the transition from preseason camp to game prep. He also assessed what makes Oklahoma State’s passing game so effective and how his defensive backs might stack up against it.

“It’s a different offense than what they see in training camp a lot,” Mullen said. “That’s going to be the interesting thing, and that’ll be a different challenge for them.”

Mullen also touched on his wide receivers and kicker Devon Bell, among other topics. I’ll have a couple of player videos posted in a bit.
