STARKVILLE | Mississippi State continued preseason camp and its preparations for the opener at Oklahoma State, and we caught up with a few guys after practice.
Defensive coordinator Geoff Collins has his hands full getting ready for that prolific OSU offense, which has been one of the best in the country year after year under coach Mike Gundy. Defensive players we spoke with Tuesday said they were looking forward to the challenge, and Collins echoed that sentiment.
“It’ll be a great challenge,” he said. “We’re fired up for it, couldn’t ask for a better opener. Great team, great offense, great coaches. We’ll see what happens.”
I’ll have player videos in a bit.
