Video: Day Discusses Bowling Skills, Practice, Russell

STARKVILLE | One more post-practice video for you this evening. We spoke with center Dillon Day, who recently became a YouTube sensation when he bowled a strike by snapping the bowling ball like a football. You can watch it here.

We asked Day about it, and he confirmed that the strike came on his first attempt. Ever. Here’s how he described the moment:

“I’ll be honest, right when I did it, the last thing I was thinking was a strike. Then I heard people going, ‘Oh!’ and I was like, what? And then I looked around, no way. There was one pin kind of wobbling, and it finally fell over. I was like, that’s what’s up.”

Day also touched on today’s practice and quarterback Tyler Russell.
