Mississippi State’s Nov. 9 showdown with Texas A&M has been slated for a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on CBS.

The Bulldogs travel to College Station for the first time since 1913. The series is tied 3-3 with Texas A&M winning last year’s contest 38-13 in Starkville behind Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel  individually racking up 440 yards of total offense.

MSU is 3-7 all-time on CBS broadcasts having lost the last three games by a combined score of 113-17. The Bulldogs lost 52-0 to Florida in 2001, 17-0 to Alabama in 2005 and 44-17 to Arkansas in 2011.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
