Kickoff between Alabama and Mississippi State in Starkville on Nov. 16 has been narrowed down to two timeslots.

The contest will either be aired on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. or ESPN at 6:45 p.m. and will be decided no later than Sunday afternoon.

The Crimson Tide leads the overall series 76-18-3 and have won five straight meetings. Alabama is 16-4 in games played in Starkville in the series. The Tide won 38-7 in Tuscaloosa last fall and 24-7 over MSU in 2011 at Davis Wade Stadium.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
