Live from Davis Wade Stadium

Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.

I just made it over to Davis Wade Stadium from Dudy Noble Field, where I covered Game 3 of the Bulldog World Series. The White team won 2-1 in walk-off fashion as Jake Vickerson, younger brother of Nick Vickerson, gave the White a 2-1 lead in the series with a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning. Now on to football, Tyler Russell has been named the starting quarterback. I’ve been hearing Dak Prescott‘s left shoulder injury is more serious than originally thought and could be as severe as season-ending. We’ll keep an eye on that and see what information we can find out as to the extent of the injury tonight.

I’m about to write up the baseball scrimmage story but stay tuned throughout the evening for updates. I will have my partner Kedrick Storey lending a hand with tonight’s game as well so give him a follow on Twitter if you’re not already doing so (@Kedthesportsguy).

Remember that tonight’s game is on ESPN.

MSU will wear its glossy maroon helmets with maroon facemasks, maroon jerseys and white pants. Alabama will wear its traditional crimson helmets and white uniforms.
