I just arrived courtside for tonight’s game against Mississippi Valley State. They had the Duke game on in the media room so I got to see former Bulldogs Rodney Hood play for a few minutes. Anyways, tonight’s game can only be heard on the radio and seen on HailStateTV. MVSU’s warm-ups read “Against All ODDS” so there’s that. I also saw the best beard I’ve seen in a while during the national anthem.

3- Colin Borchert, F, 6-8, 231, Sr.

20- Gavin Ware, C, 6-9, 270, So.

Rick Ray said the emphasis for this game was to work the ball inside to Ware. He scored the game’s first four points.

Jacoby Davis now running the point for the Bulldogs. Quickly gets a steal.

Sword with back-to-back jumpers.

Valley big man Julius Francis, who’s 6-foot-11, is showing some soft touch on his shots around the basket.

Borchert with the dunk for the Bulldogs.

Valley’s Ben Milshtein came from Isreal to Itta Bena, Miss. I bet that was a journey.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
