Happy Thanksgiving to all and welcome to Davis Wade Stadium for the Egg Bowl. I’ve got my partner Parrish Alford alongside today and we will be sharing today’s game duties. It’s a chilly but beautiful day and I hope everyone got their share of turkey and dressing today. They’ve got the Cowboys-Raiders game on the MooTube with former Bulldog Cameron Lawrence suiting up for Dallas.

Mac McAnally is on the field warming up for the national anthem.

Mississippi State has arrived at the stadium and are currently walking the field.

Ole Miss busses just pulled up at the stadium.

The specialists are out on the field warming up now. MSU will wear gold helmets and maroon uniforms with gold numbers while Ole Miss will be clad in navy helmets and white uniforms.

Quarterbacks dressed out for MSU during pregame are Damian Williams, Sam Cowart, Josh Hand and Dak Prescott.

Tyler Russell is wearing his jersey but has a hoodie underneath it and sweat pants.

No starting quarterback was announced on the MooTube. LaDarius Perkins was announced as the starting running back.

Williams will start the Egg Bowl according to MSU’s football Twitter account.

John Van Horn, Sam Cowart, James Baldwin, Paul Thompson, Bailey West, Rishunn McCaleb, Taylor Earhart, Ivan Muniz, Dylan Holley, Baker Swedenburg, Charles Siddoway, Deontae Skinner, Nickoe Whitley, Denico Autry and Gabe Jackson were honored for senior day.

Ole Miss won the toss and deferred to the second half.

Williams does indeed start theg game at quarterback for the Bulldogs.

Offsetting upsportsmanlike conduct penalties on Ben Beckwith and Tony Conner.

Bulldogs get two first downs on the opening drive but are forced to punt.

Nickoe Whitley with his 15th career interception. He picks off Bo Wallace at midfield. Whitley now leads the country in career interceptions and is one away from the school record.

Williams back out for the Bulldogs second series as well.

Andrew Ritter missed a 27-yard field goal. Clanked off the left upright.

Former MSU running back and current Indianapolis Colt Vick Ballard is on the sideline for tonight’s game.

Good challenge there by Dan Mullen. Mullen wins the challenge and Bulldogs get off the field on third down.

Richie Brown intercepts Wallace but is stripped at the 5-yard line by Laquan Treadwell.

Chris Jones sacks Wallace and throws up a Landshark.

Justin Cox with his first interception of the year. Cox picks off Wallace at the UM 30-yard line.

They just recognized a fella that’s been to 76 consecutive Egg Bowls. That’s impressive.

Collins Moore blocks Baker Swedenburg‘s punt in the end zone. Terrell Grant falls on it in the end zone for the touchdown. Ritter PAT, 7-7 0:26 2nd.

That was the eighth time this season that a team has scored in the final 2:31 remaining before halftime. Among those eight scores, six were touchdowns.

Prescott takes over at quarterback for the Bulldogs. Prescott completes a 10-yard pass to De’Runnya Wilson on the first play from scrimmage but cannot move the chains again on his opening drive.

Sobiesk with a 36-yard field goal, 10-10 2:21 4th.

Sobiesk misses a 38-yard field goal on the final play of regulation.
