Jackson earns eighth All-American honor

Senior offensive guard Gabe Jackson was selected to his eighth All-American team on Wednesday.

The Football Writers Association of America picked the 6-foot-4, 340-pounder on its second team.

Jackson has started all 51 games of his college career which is the most among active FBS players. He graded out at 80-percent or higher in every game this season and did not allow a sack.

The Liberty native also won the C Spire Conorly and Hull awards and was a first team All-SEC selection.
