Copiah-Lincoln Community College offensive tackle Jocquell Johnson has signed a national letter of intent to play at Mississippi State.

The 6-foot-6, 319-pounder was originally a product of Callaway High School and is rated as a three-star prospect. Johnson committed to the Bulldogs on May 22 over an offer from Ole Miss.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
