Mississippi State fans had to adjust their plans this past weekend when the Bulldogs opening four-game series was switched to a three-game set with Western Carolina due to travel cancellations from weather.

The maroon and white faithful face another change Wednesday as the Bulldogs home date with Memphis has been bumped back to a 6:30 p.m. first pitch.

The original start time was slated for 4 p.m.

MSU is 52-22 all-time against Memphis in a series that started in 1950. The Diamond Dogs won 12-1 at Memphis last season.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
