Running back LaDarius Perkins and offensive guard Gabe Jackson will represent Mississippi State at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this weekend.
332 players were invited to participate in this year’s combine at Lucas Oil Stadium starting Saturday at a.m. and will be televised live on the NFL Network.
Jackson will workout first on Saturday. The 6-foot-4, 335-pounder from Liberty started all 52 games of his Bulldog career paving the way to four consecutive bowl appearances. Jackson earned nine All-American honors following this season and is rated the top guard in the draft by ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr.
Perkins was a four-year contributor in the backfield for MSU finishing as the school’s fifth-leading rusher. The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder from Greenville totaled 2,554 yards and 25 touchdowns during his career. Perkins is slated to workout with the running backs on Sunday.
Both are expected to have their names called during the NFL Draft on May 8-10.
