It’s a beautiful afternoon for baseball here at Dudy Noble Field. We’re a little late starting because the 11 a.m. Game 1 was a 18-13 affair won by Michigan State. The Spartans are on their way home and Eastern Illinois and the Bulldogs will conclude the Diamond Classic. Mississippi State is wearing its maroon hats, black jerseys and white pants while the Panthers are clad in blue hats and jerseys with white britches.

Henderson walked, Armstrong was on the move and the catcher threw down to second and Robson came in to score. Technically that’s a stolen base for Robson.
