When the Mississippi State men’s and women’s basketball teams take the court inside Humphrey Coliseum next season it will be under a new video board.

The Bulldogs have partnered with Daktronics Inc. for a new LED, high-definition four-sided video board that will be hung over center court. The displays will be 50-percent larger than the current configuration with the main video display measuring 8-feet high by 15.5 feet wide.

Also included in the upgrade are eight locker room clocks, three main shot clocks, three auxiliary shot clocks, three light strips and four standard fixed-digit scoreboards.

Installation will begin this summer.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
