It sure was a lot warmer the last time I was in this press box…which didn’t seem that long ago. I had to breakout the boggin’ and glove once again. I’m a lifelong Mississippian so I should’ve known better. Tonight MSU takes on its third straight in-state opponent in Alcorn State. So far the crowd size looks like the ones I tweeted about earlier today that the Braves are accustomed to. The Bulldogs are wearing maroon hats and white “Mississippi State” uniforms. ASU is in purple hats and jerseys and grey pants.

Detz hit a fly ball to left that was dropped in left-center by Burl which scored Rea and Britton, 2 RBI. The throw home was high by Charles and allowed Brown and Detz to advance into scoring position. Originally the batted ball was ruled an error which I disagreed with and it was changed to a hit. No error was ruled on the play but should have been on the throw.
