Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen will join 10 other NCAA coaches in the eighth annual Chick-Fil-A Bowl Challenge April 27-29 in Greensboro, Ga.

The charity golf tournament will be played at the Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee with a $125,000 first place prize. All 11 universities participating will receive a share of the $520,000 scholarship purse.

Mullen will be paired with former Bulldog and NFL fullback Fred McCrary once again this year. Together the pair has raised $65,000 in scholarship money for MSU in three appearances in the tournament.

Mullen and McCrary’s best finish came tied for fourth in 2012 with an -8 under par score and winning $35,000. Last year the duo shot -5 under earning $20,000 and finished tied for ninth place.
