Live from Dudy Noble Field

I’ve arrived at the ballpark for mid-week action against Jacksonville State. I hope all the folk affected by the tornado are doing as well as possibly under the circumstances. My parents home was hit in New Hope and sustained some damage but it definitely could’ve been much worse. Luckily they are all safe which is really what matters. Everything else can be replaced. They are hoping to get power back tomorrow.

The Bulldogs are wearing maroon hats, maroon “Mississippi State” jerseys and white pants. Jacksonville State is clad in red hats, red jerseys and grey pants. Tonight’s game will not be televised except on HailStateTV but can be heard on the MSU Radio Network.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
