Welcome to Game 2 of the final home series of the season for Mississippi State as the Bulldogs attempt to rebound from last night’s fourth inning disaster. Tonight’s game will be televised on CSS. The skies are clear and its a bit humid as we approach first pitch. I’ve spend my day watching the NFL Draft to see if anymore MSU players are taken but none had been as of when I left home a few minutes ago and only a few picks remained. The Diamond Dogs will wear their maroon hats and maroon “Mississipppi State” jerseys with white pants with maroon pinstripes. Tennessee is clad in black hats with orange bills, orange jerseys and grey pants.

Although the series concludes tomorrow, senior day festivities will take place today honoring the careers of Demarcus Henderson, Alex Detz, Ben Bracewell, Derrick Armstrong, C.T. Bradford and Brett Pirtle. Today’s first pitches were thrown out by all of the senior players mothers.
