Two more former Mississippi State players signed free agent contracts on Sunday bringing the Bulldogs list to five that now have NFL futures.
Defensive end Denico Autry has agreed to terms with the Green Bay Packers while linebacker Deontae Skinner is headed to the New England Patriots.
Offensive guard Gabe Jackson was the only MSU player selected in the NFL Draft over the weekend while running back LaDarius Perkins and Nickoe Whitley inked free agent deals shortly after the draft concluded.
Autry will join Perkins in Green Bay after two seasons in Starkville. The 6-foot-6, 265-pounde native of Albermarle, N.C. was a four-star prospect out of East Mississippi Community College and appeared in all 26 games for the Bulldogs making 23 starts.
Autry made 73 career tackles – 16 for loss – six sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception.
Skinner is a former Noxubee County standout who played in 47 games during his career including 34 starts. The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder made 202 tackles, 18.5 for loss, one sack, one interception and three forced fumbles during his career.
Both Autry and Skinner participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl following the season.
