It’s a gorgeous afternoon for baseball here in Tuscaloosa as Mississippi State is currently on the field taking batting practice before its final regular season game of the season. The Bulldogs still have a chance to share a portion of the SEC with the only scenario being an Ole Miss loss and a MSU win. State will wear maroon hats, black jerseys and grey pants while Alabama is clad in crimson hats and jerseys and white pants. Today’s game will be televised on CSS.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.

How is LSU’s 17-11-1 better than State’s 18-12? It is what it is. State will have to do it the hard way. Most importantly, they need to get their pitching ready for the run to Omaha. It’s going to another great post season!!
