For the third consecutive year, Mississippi State’s Dillon Day has been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list, an award given annually to the nation’s top center.
Day has appeared in 39 games during his career earning 34 starting calls at center. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder from West Monroe, La., played in all 13 games for the Bulldogs last season with a dozen starts.
Day was one of 63 players chosen to the spring watch list. The Rimington Trophy will be presented Jan. 17, 2015 in Lincoln, Neb. Bryan Stork of Florida State claimed the award last season.
