Mississippi State has set a new record for season ticket sales having sold 44,230 as of Friday, breaking the 2012 mark of 44,212.
“It is an exciting time for our football program and Bulldog fans,” said MSU Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin. “There is a lot of anticipation as we draw closer to the grand opening of the Davis Wade Stadium expansion. Fans still have an opportunity to purchase season tickets and help create the special environment we have here on gameday.”
The new expansion will increase the capacity of Davis Wade Stadium to 61,337.
The Bulldogs have sold out 30 consecutive home games heading into its Aug. 30 opener against Southern Miss.
