Infielder Kyle Hann is no longer a part of the Mississippi State baseball program according to a team spokesman.

A native of Ontario, Canada, Hann spent two seasons in Starkville appearing in 38 games and made 13 starts. The 5-foot-8, 174-pounder received a medical redshirt for last season after injuries limited him to just a dozen games.

Hann went 1-for-10 at the plate for the Diamond Dogs in 2014 and hit .219 as a true freshman. According to Perfect Game’s Kendall Rogers, he has enrolled at St. John’s River Community College in Florida where former MSU player Will Coggin is an assistant coach.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
