The momentum from Mississippi State’s win over the weekend carried over into Monday morning as the Bulldogs landed one of the state’s top prospects.

Brandon four-star recruit Fletcher Adams made the decision to join his older brother, Nelson, on MSU’s defensive line next year.

Adams, a 6-foot-3, 260-pounder, committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Miami, Missouri, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Southern Miss.

Adams has helped Brandon get off to a 3-1 start to the season recording 54 tackles (18 solo, 36 assists), 10 tackles for loss and four quarterback hurries.

He becomes the 28th commitment for the Bulldogs in 2015 class which ranks 12th nationally according to 247Sports.com.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
