Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott capped off a memorable week with more national awards for his play in the Bulldogs 48-31 win over Texas A&M.

The junior capped off the week with his third Manning Quarterback of the Week award this season along with his second Maxwell Award Player of the Week and a College Football Hall of Fame Performer of the Week honor.

Prescott earned recognition from Athlon Sports as its National Player of the Week, the Davey O’Brien Quarterback of the Week, 24/7 Sports National Offensive Player of the Week as well as a spot on the Paul Hornung Honor Roll earlier in the week.

He accounted for 356 yards of total offense and five touchdowns against the Aggies.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
