Bulldogs’ 2015 football schedule unveiled

Mississippi State’s 2015 football schedule will once again feature seven home games but will begin on the road against Southern Miss in Hattiesburg on Sept. 5.

The Bulldogs will host its SEC and home opener against LSU on Sept. 12 and continue the homestand the following weekend with Northwestern State.

MSU will then venture on back-to-back road treks to Auburn (Sept. 26) and Texas A&M (Oct. 3.). Dan Mullen’s squad returns home for the remainder of October hosting Troy (Oct. 10), Louisiana Tech (Oct. 17) and Kentucky (Oct. 24).

State’s lone open date falls on Halloween.

The final month of the season will start with a Thursday outing at Missouri on Nov. 5 before returning home to face twin state rival Alabama on Nov. 14. The Bulldogs will then make their first trip to Fayetteville since 1993 on Nov. 21 to face Arkansas.

The annual Egg Bowl meeting with Ole Miss will be held in Starkville on Nov. 28.
