Meridian safeties commit to MSU



The Bulldogs received good news prior to kickoff on Saturday as 2016 safeties Zaire Jones and Quincy Lenton of Meridian made their commitments.

Both players are listed at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds with Jones rated as a four-star prospect by while Lenton is unrated.

Jones entered the week with 36 tackles, two for loss and one interception while Lenton had 18 stops, one interception and forced a fumble for the 6-4 Wildcats.



MSU now has seven commitments for 2016.
