Mississippi State’s on field success continues to carry over to the recruiting trail as the Bulldogs added a commitment from 2016 defensive tackle Caleb Tillman.

Tillman is a 6-foot-3, 265-pounder from Northview High School in Dothan, Ala., who chose MSU over offers from Kentucky, Louisville and Ole Miss.

Tillman’s pledge pushes the Bulldogs 2016 class, which consists of eight commitments, up to third nationally according to 247Sports.com.

Tillman helped lead the Cougars to a 7-5 season this fall.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
