Mississippi State will have to wait a bit longer for four-star offensive tackle Tommy Champion‘s arrival.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder from Callaway High School signed with Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Wednesday and is no longer a part of the Bulldogs 2015 class.
Champion is one of two four-star recruits that State has lost this week along with athlete Cameron Myers, who inked with Gulf Coast.
Champion had been committed to the Bulldogs since mid-May and also owned offers from Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis and Ole Miss. He will enroll at Co-Lin next month.
Mississippi State signed five players on Wednesday but saw its 2015 class drop to 27 members. The Bulldogs class is currently ranked 15th nationally by 247Sports.com.
