It has been quite the week for Mississippi State junior linebacker Benardrick McKinney.
The 6-foot-5, 249-pounder added three more All-American honors to bring his total to six this postseason. McKinney picked up first team honors from the Football Writers Association of America and ESPN.com and was a second team selection by the Sporting News.
The Tunica native had already been named a first team All-American by Sports Illustrated and second team by the Associated Press and the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
McKinney led the team with 61 tackles including eight for loss, three sacks, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.
