Mississippi State debuted new uniforms in the 2014 season opener to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of Scott Field. The Bulldogs donned maroon throwback jerseys that resembled the ones they wore in the late 90’s.

The popularity of the uniforms led to MSU wearing them for a majority of the year. For the Orange Bowl against Georgia Tech, the Bulldogs will sport a white version of the uniform.

The uniform will be similar to the one shown above. Numerals will appear on the upper shoulders and the players name will be on the back nameplate across the shoulders.

The uniforms have not been delievered yet according to HailState beat reporter Bob Carskadon but will be completed in time for State to take the field on Dec. 31 in Miami.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
