The Bulldogs 2015 class took a blow this week losing the pledge of four-star running back Kentavious Thomas.

Thomas had been committed to Mississippi State since February. The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder from Milledgeville, Ga., is considered the nation’s No. 20 running back by 247Sports.com.

Thomas also holds an offer from Louisville.

As a senior, Thomas rushed 230 times for 1,399 yards and 19 touchdowns while catching 11 passes for 90 yards.

The Bulldogs 2015 class shrunk to 26 commitments and fell to No. 16 nationally.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
