“We’re extremely excited. That is the number one goal in our program every year.”

On practice and arriving to South Florida later in the evening…

“We had a good practice this afternoon. Then we made the trip. We felt like that is a good way to do it.”

On playing in the Capital One Orange Bowl against a quality team that was once ranked number one for multiple weeks…

“We’re excited to be here. The last few games we played Clemson, Georgia, Florida State so we are accustomed to playing in this kind of game.”

Justin Thomas-QB–Sophomore

On playing in the Orange Bowl…

“Very exciting. We set our goals and reached them. We did big things this year. Now it is time to finish the job.”

On lessons Georgia Tech learned from the ACC Championship game…

“We just need to come out the same way we did the last game. We need to come out with high intensity. We need to start fast. And we need to keep the offense moving forward.”

Quayshawn Nealy – Inside Linebacker – RS Senior

On coming to Miami…

“The greeting coming off the plane was a great – what a great feeling. As soon as we got off the plane all of this humidity, I’m from Florida, but still this Miami heat is crazy. But for this game we are definitely excited, ready to get out there and play.”

On the team’s schedule…

“We practiced today, we practiced in Atlanta, and we’ll pick it up tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to it.”

On what it means to be in a bowl like the Orange Bowl…

“It means a great deal, I mean we’ve had a great season thus far and we are looking to go out with the W.”

On representing the ACC in the game against the SEC…

“Of course we are [putting the ACC on our back], I mean when you’ve got these two, we’ve got to represent for the ACC.”
