Mississippi State freshman wide receiver and returner Jamoral Graham did not travel to Miami and will not play in the Orange Bowl.

A team spokesman confirmed that Graham was suspended for a violation of team rules.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder from Decatur appeared in nine games for the Bulldogs catching five passes for 78 yards and one touchdown. Graham also returned 14 punts for 67 yards.

Graham was one of five true freshmen to play for MSU this season. He also did not travel to Ole Miss for the regular season finale.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
