Offensive tackle Blaine Clausell and cornerback Jamerson Love will represent Mississippi State in the Medal of Honor Bowl Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT in Charleston, S.C.

The Bulldogs seniors will team up as part of the American roster. Love, a native of Aberdeen, will wear No. 28 while Clausell will sport No. 76.

Clausell, a 6-foot-7, 315-pounder from Mobile, appeared in 49 games during his career including 38 starts at left tackle.

Love also played in 49 games and drew 25 starts in the secondary. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder made 104 career tackles, seven for loss, broke up 20 passes and made four interceptions – one of which he returned 70 yards for a touchdown.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
